Summer Swim Lessons Schedule
Starfish Fun (Parent and Toddler): For children ages 6 months through 3 years, this class is designed for the parent or caregiver to interact with the child in the pool. Through singing and games, children are familiarized with the water.

This class will be held in the training pool in approximately 3 ½ feet of water.

Level 1- Otter Madness: For children ages 3 to 5 years and older, that need to be oriented to the water. Fun games and songs encourage the development of bobbing, holding breath, kicking, etc.
This class will be held in the training pool by the steps.

Level 2- Otter Madness 2: For children ages 3 to 5 years and older, teaching the “primary” skills, such as kicking, breathing, floating on the front and back, etc.
This class will be held in the training pool in approximately 3 ½ feet of water.

Level 3- Seals: For children ages 5 years and older that have already completed Level 2. Emphasis will be on the front and back crawl strokes. Other skills include safe water entry, diving, and object retrieval with eyes open. Prior to enrollment in this class, child MUST be unable to float unassisted.
This class will be held in the Training Pool or the Big Pool in approximately 3 ½ feet of water. Parts of the class will be conducted in six feet of water.

Level 4- Dolphins: For children ages 6+ years that have already completed Level 3. Emphasis will be Side Stroke, Breaststroke, Dolphin Kick, and open turns on the front and back, as well as Tuck and Pike surface dives.
This class will be held in the Big Pool in water ranging from three to ten feet in depth. If unsure regarding the ability of your child to swim in deep water, enroll in level 3.

Level 5- Whales: For children ages 6+ that have completed level 4. Emphasis will be on endurance, flip turns, surface and deck dives, Butterfly, as well as continued work on Front Crawl, Back Crawl, and Breaststroke.
This class will be held in the Big Pool in water ranging from three to ten feet in depth. If unsure regarding the ability of your child to swim in deep water, enroll in level 4.

Private Lessons
Private swim lessons are also available for any level. In order to schedule private lessons, please call the office or stop by during normal business hours. The cost is $75 for four 30-minute lessons. To add an additional student to a private lesson, the cost is only $5 more.
