Arden Manor Afterschool Care

The Arden Manor Afterschool program focuses on providing a well balanced afterschool experience for students in grades K - 6. Students will be begin each afterschool day with a nutritious snack followed by either a sport, fitness, or dance class (parents and students will choose the type of activity at the beginning of each month). After the students have burned off some of that extra energy they will have their choice of fun and creative exploration activities. Each day will end with homework help, tutoring, quiet reading and enrichment games and activities. We keep a 1 to 10 staff to student ratio to ensure that students are well supervised and able to receive the assistance and attention they need. Fridays are “Fun Fridays” and include sports and fitness followed by fun group games, movie days, and more. Listed below are the program options that each student may participate in, all program options are included in the monthly fees which average only $2.28 per hour.

- Daily Fitness - Active Games, Yoga, and Fun

- Dance - Ballet & Jazz (Winter & Spring recitals)

The first step in registering for the afterschool program is to complete the registration form, which can be found online at www.amrpd.org, or at the Arden Manor District office (1415 Rushden Drive, right next to Thomas Edison), or in the Thomas Edison office. Registration forms must be submitted along with monthly payment to the Arden Manor Recreation and Park District.
