Arden Manor Recreation and Park District serves the community around it. Our ability to provide services depends in great part on the involvement of the local community. Volunteers are needed on many levels. There are many ways in which you can help serve your community in this aspect.

Volunteer Opportunities

• Park Cleanups — This is a very important chance to help maintain and better our local parks. You can volunteer alone or with a group.
• Help Out with Special Events — Here’s a fun way to earn community service hours. Arden Manor Recreation and Park District is looking for volunteers to help with special community events. Sign up now to help with preparation before the event, event day set-up, and the event itself. Sign-up with friends or on your own and make new friends. Service groups welcome.
• Teach a Class — Do you have a skill that you would like to teach to others? With a little free time, you could earn some extra money while sharing time with members of this community. In order to teach a class for AMPRD; please compile a written plan entailing the following questions.
  1. What is the name of your program/class?
  2. Who is it intended for? (children, adults, certain grades…)
  3. What are the goals of the program?
  4. What would be good days and times?
  5. What qualifications do you have to teach this program?
