10 Year Master Plan Goals
*This plan is in the process of being revised and updated. This process will begin January 2008.

• To protect and manage the park land to meet the demands of the changing population
• To establish a diversified program to serve the needs of all interest groups, age groups, and persons of varied economic or ethnic backgrounds
• To plan park development in order to maintain a balance between active and passive recreational activities and facilities
• To plan park development and improvements for visual and aesthetic qualities as well as functional use
• To encourage the conservation of natural resources in all phases of park planning and operation
• To plan programs that will contribute to a healthy and safe environment
• To incorporate native shrubs and plants in landscaping whenever appropriate
• To preserve natural scenic qualities of the existing environment
