2007/2008 Manager’s Recommendations
For 2007/2008, I recommend that the Board and staff build a solid administrative foundation in order to be able to create and sustain viable recreational and park programs. In addition, the administrative staff needs to concentrate on the process of maintaining consistencies in internal organization, in order to be able to better manage and measure programs and projects. This can be carried out by revamping all policy manuals, creating a business/financial plan, increasing pricing for all services, creating obtainable goals and objectives, revising employee standards as well as employee salary scale and job descriptions and creating an advertising and marketing strategy.
For 2007/2008, I recommend that Arden Manor Recreation and Park District Board, staff and community revise the 10 year plan by creating committees to address the districts future plans; in addition, the plans need to include a necessary increase in the Landscape and Lighting District Assessment.
For 2007/2008, I recommend the completion of Crabtree Sidewalk Project and the refinancing of the AMPRD balloon payment loans.
